New European program ERASMUS+ IMPROVE: ‘’Innovative Metodologies and PRactices on VET’’

The Center of Lifelong Learning “Kainotomia” participates as a partner in the European program IMPROVE: ” Innovative Methodologies and Practices on VET ” ERASMUS + KA2, in collaboration with organizations and networks as well as private and public companies established in European Union countries.
The first transnational project meeting was successfully held on 5/4/2019 to 7/4/2019 in Potenza, Italy, headed by the Italian coordinator.
The program “IMPROVE” aims at:
-promoting innovative VET practices and tools in order to make vocational education and training clear to the public and presenting it as an important choice in their career path, as it is set out by the European Commission in one of its ‘Ten Actions’ in its new and comprehensive ‘Competency Agenda’ for Europe ”(presented in June 2016)
-meeting the need for innovation in VET systems, thanks to alternative and successful methodologies / approaches in the learning environment, in order to create a successful career orientated learning experience
The main objective of the project is to develop institutional partnerships that support the creation and implementation of a strategy for the internationalization of learners and learners in VET.

The target groups of the IMPROVE project are:
• The staff of the participating organizations directly involved in the action. They will learn what experiences and best practices are used in other countries to promote innovation in VET systems, and to learn new methodologies through JSTE.
• apprentices and students, who are usually targeted by the activities of the participant organizations
• Stakeholders (VET providers, schools, higher education system, adult learners, employment and guidance centers, education system, Erasmus + programs, etc.) at the local / regional level of the organizations, involved in the dissemination plan.
