Safety technician

The Innovation Center for Lifelong Learning organizes training programs for safety technicians.
They may participate in training programs as safety technicians in their business:
• employers (as long as they are qualified and their businesses fall into Category B ”in accordance with Articles 10, 12 and 22 of the CNAYE)
• full-time employees in companies with less than 50 persons who belong to category B or C ́ provided they are qualified in the manner provided for in Article 11 (1) (d) of the CNAYE.
• employers in their business as long as they fall under Category C in accordance with article 10 of the CNA. and employ less than 50 employees.
According to the above provisions:
Eligible to Participate:
EMPLOYERS In B-class companies – 35-hour training programs
a) Up to 3 people (one of them)
1) 10 years of proven business operation (chamber attestation or commencement of office); or
2) A license to practice as an expert in the same field of business
b) Up to 6 people (one of them)
Degree of technical studies (Certification Degree if certification is required) from:
1) Technical vocational training or
2) Vocational Training Institute (IEK) or
3) A recognized technical vocational school or
4) Technical High School Bachelor’s Degree (Technical Specialty)

EMPLOYEES
Bachelor’s degree (Certification Degree if certification is required) from:
1) Technical vocational training or
2) Vocational Training Institute (IEK) or
3) A recognized technical vocational school or
4) Technical High School Bachelor’s Degree (Technical Specialty)
5) Certificate of Expert Certificate: VIRCHL-LX3 for the above (employee’s case) for at least eight (8) years from the acquisition of the qualification and to be full time employee in the business. Other documents will not be accepted.
Employers train themselves if they have made that choice knowing that they could alternatively outsource non-business security or contract with External Protection and Prevention Services (ESPP).
If they decide to train themselves or train an employee of their business, they are free to choose any training provider they wish, including those implementing such training programs.
Program Cost
The total amount paid per training program by each person concerned is a maximum of € 70 (Category C) and € 130 (Category B) without any additional charge.

Further information
Interested parties should know:
– there is no need for a book on the safety technician at all if the employer himself performs IT duties.
– the declaration to the Ministry of Labor that he will undertake as a security technician in his business is made only electronically through the ERGANIS CP, for the companies registered in this system, without having to submit any document to the labor inspectorate.
– if the business belongs to Category C, he / she can make the risk assessment himself / herself. Under no circumstances may the program developer or trainers be permitted to mediate a written risk assessment.
