The inclusion of people with disabilities is one of the major issues of our time, with many young people being unable to enjoy their social life due to lack of facilities and infrastructure.
Our aim in the DARE:DisAble The BarRiErs project is to change this by promoting inclusion in international youth work but also to share our experiences with other youth organizations and youth workers in order to foster more inclusive projects.
The Dare Practical Guide is one of the project’s four outputs and particularly addresses to those who organize, implement and coordinate international youth mobilities.
The Guide is ideal for NGO members, Youth Workers, Trainers/educators and project managers that are active in the field of Erasmus+ mobility including implementing short/long term youth mobilities.
In the five chapters of this guide, you will find information and practical aspects of accessible, inclusive activities as well as methods to facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in mobility projects.
DARE Practical Guide is an innovative tool that will help not only to improve the quality of European mobility programs but also to integrate people with disabilities into society.
