There is no doubt that the 4th Industrial Revolution is bringing with it new opportunities to the health sector(Health 4.0.) as recently seen during the COVID-19 pandemic. This means that existing health care employees need to be assisted to proactively catch up with these emerging technologies in order to feel confident, comfortable and skilled in working in a Health4.0 environment.
For this reason, in the framework of the Digi4Health project, we created an innovative Curriculum, under the guidance of the curriculum design experts within the consortium, by which European VET Trainers and health sector mentors can reach out and assist healthcare professionals and stakeholders to catch up with digital technologies of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
The curriculum aims to meet the needs of a wide range of healthcare personnel such as podiatrists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, radiographers and nurses and to help them understand better what HEALTH4.0 is all about and how its underlying technologies can be exploited in their daily work.
The program covers a a spectrum of Health 4.0 topics such as CAD/CAM technologies, 3D printing and 3D scanning, robotics, etc.
In the same file you will be able to find the national reports of the focus groups, on which the curriculum was based, so that it meets the needs of the medical staff with precision and efficiency.
Download the English version of the curriculum and benefit from the information it provides.
