Summary of the project
HIRE – enHancing candIdates oppoRtunities for succEssful interviews
HIRE is a 24-month Erasmus+ project, that addresses the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on employment, emphasizing the exacerbated regional inequalities and heightened job competition, particularly in Mediterranean regions like Greece, Italy, and Spain. Recognizing the significant gap in interview preparation, the project aims to empower VET Trainers, counsellors, and mentors with a comprehensive soft skills training package. This package, divided into profiles for VET learners and trainers, focuses on essential interview skills and includes tips, techniques, and anxiety-reducing exercises. The innovative aspect involves an interview simulation experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence, allowing trainees to interact with a 3D character avatar, fostering realistic interview practice and enhancing overall job readiness for VET learners in the challenging labour market.

PROJECT’S OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of the HIRE project are to:
- Provide VET Trainers/institutes/counsellors with an inclusive and interactive interview preparation training material
- Provide trainers with training skills and material regarding the soft skills needed to thrive in an interview
- Provide VET trainers with an ultimate simulation interview tool they can use with their learners to prepare them and monitor their progress through customised feedback
- Provide VET learners with an interviewer with whom they can practise, self-reflect and break the ice of a real-life interview, reduce the levels of anxiety, nervousness, and other emotions that learners/candidates usually face during their interviews
- Disseminate the results and generate impact in partner countries and the wider EU level

Project Results
The Ultimate Interview Preparation Platform is a comprehensive training package designed for both VET Trainers and VET Learners.
The Kit will be split into two sub-platforms for each of the projects’ target groups with different training preparation materials and resources. The first Sub – sector addressing VET Learners will include modules with soft skills that are inevitable for a successful interview in today’s labour market, facts and stats about an interview to help them with their job interview preparation, questions repository including questions that will be asked by a potential HR Manager/employer and questions to ask a potential employer.
The second Sub – sector addressing VET trainers includes Trainers’ notes, Training exercises and/or worksheets based on the soft skills developed in the trainee’s profile, Assessment quizzes on the modules developed, Interview techniques, commonly used by employers and tips and tricks to respond to those.
The concept AI Interview Preparation App focuses in using Artificial Intelligence to create and simulate a Real Interview that allows trainees to practice for their interviews with a customizable avatar.
Incorporating advanced technologies like sentiment analysis and emotional AI, the app includes a library of 100+ questions in four languages and provides feedback on body language, voice tone, and emotional parameters post-interview, using facial recognition and voice analytics. Employers can use the app to offer feedback and guidance to candidates.

FLORIDA CENTRE DE FORMACIÓ, COOP. V. – Coordinator partner, Spain
FLORIDA Centre de Formació, a Valencian worker cooperative established in 1977, is a prominent player in education, offering a diverse range of programs across various educational levels. With 265 employees and 3,700 students, FLORIDA operates under two brands: Florida Universitària for higher education and Florida Secundaria for compulsory secondary education. As part of the Florida Cooperative Education Group, which includes NINOS Escoles Infantils and Academia Júcar, FLORIDA engages over 600 employees and 5,000 students. It provides officially recognized university qualifications and vocational education and training in fields such as business, education engineering, health, sports, IT, and logistics. KAINOTOMIA & SIA EE – partner, Greece
“KAINOTOMIA” Lifelong Learning Centre (K.DI.VI.M) in Greece, which is active in the field of Vocational Education and Training. KAINOTOMIA has implemented more than 60 continuing vocational training programmes for unemployed people, teachers of all levels of education, higher education students, employees/self-employed and vulnerable social groups, for the development of professional opportunities and their promotion and integration into the labour market and society in general, through innovative programmes. “KAINOTOMIA” provides consultancy services to enterprises and support and advisory services to trainees to facilitate their (re)entry into the labour market. “KAINOTOMIA” has participated in several national projects, offering a high degree of expertise in training in modern fields, combining them with those that are in high demand in the labour market to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes of trainees for their integration into the labour market. Furthermore, “KAINOTOMIA” participates in co-funded national programmes called “local development and entrepreneurship projects for unemployed people based on specific local needs and development potential”.
MARKEUT SKILLS SOCIEDAD LIMITADA partner, – Spain
MEUS is a private organization based in Valencia, Spain, aimed at bettering people´s capacities in their environment, both at professional and private levels. Thus, it focuses on the skills development of individuals at each stage of their life, from school to adult education. In line with the European strategy related to education, MEUS works on the development of new training materials and methodologies adapted to different target and market needs, so improving the integration of the labour market. MEUS is an expert in new learning methods, based on participative and collaborative ways of learning. Our training activities rely on experiential training and learning by doing, intending to keep the learners alert so that they can learn new competencies in an entertaining way. MEUS largely exploit gamification, developing challenges that trainees need to overcome individually or as teams. Our training activities are proposed on-site or online while collaborating with IT experts for the development of digital solutions that are in line with our philosophy. MEUS also promotes the mobility of youth and adults, students and professionals as a way of learning from experiences in other countries, our organization has participated in a number of Erasmus + projects and accompanied blended / short-term mobilities!
CELLOCK LTD – partner, Cyprus
Cellock, based in Cyprus, is a leading Information Technology, research and development SME, founded in 2003, and currently operates in the fields of software development, IoT, artificial intelligence, and wearables. Cellock has many years of experience in software and hardware development and a highly skilled technical workforce, serving clients in diversified business verticals like agriculture, telecommunication operators, and government organizations. Cellock participates in EU and national research proposals since 2004 and has collaborated with universities and research and development departments around the world, as a scientific/technical coordinator since it has established experience in the industrial domain for various multinational, technical projects. Cellock owns a portfolio of IP including two US patents and one trademark. Cellock has developed all the current technologies and prototypes in-house and owns all the background IP.

The University of Torino (UniTo) is a prestigious Italian institution with over 70,500 students and a diverse academic staff of 3,650.
