On Thursday 1st of February 2024, the first transnational meeting took place in Dresden, Germany, marking the launch of the European TEX4.0 project.
The TEX4.0 project is a 24-month Erasmus+ project that aims to provide workers in the textile industry and people who are neither working nor participating in any training with the necessary skills to address the lack of digital knowledge in the field of Industry 4.0. The need to be up to date and adapt to the rapid technological developments in the sector is thus emphasised to increase their employment prospects.
In this first meeting, the partners of the partnership were able to lay the foundations of the project and plan for its next steps.
