Partners had the opportunity to come across the thematic of the circular economy. The day ended with a totally interesting visit to an industrial composting plant for the recovery of organic waste.
As regards the second day, the main topic was Waste management in Italy: Regulation and good practices. The training started with a short introduction to the topic, proceeding to the lectures, and finally closing with a visit to the PFM Plastic Free Museum exhibition of students’ artwork, at Cellamare Castle.
During the third and last day of our Joint Staff Training Event, partners and staff organization members gained useful knowledge about Sustainable development and the circular economy and Waste: from cost to the resource. The training ended with an interactive workshop, in which the main aim was to “Give a second life to waste”, using waste to reproduce something creative.
